Makes Me Happy ~ Creating My Space

This is the top of my rolltop desk. It's where I sit at the computer to read, write, think, and where I organize (sort of) my stuff. Even though there are many areas of my home that have yet to be put in order since our move, I needed to create this small place to give me joy. And it does.

I am glad to know that you are finding joy in this small space in your new home! It makes me smile when I think of you sitting there at your desk, with some lovely things that give you pleasure. It is so important for us to have that kind of place, isn't it? As much as I don't want to dwell in the temporal things, I find that I crave an oasis of beauty and peace in my surroundings.

I am also happy that you have made a few visits to your bloggy space too! ;-) Restoration Place is a small place that brings *me* joy!
