I am always the one holding the camera and taking photos of the family. I realized recently that there aren't any recent photos of me, and certainly none of me with the children (though I am with them nearly all the time).
I want my children to look back through photos and be able to see their mom in a way that might differ from their memories. I love to look at photos of my mom, especially now that I'm older and look more and more like her every day (~grin!~).
Here we are enjoying a late fall hike at Eden Mill. This is one of my favorites. I exercised a blogger's selective privilege and didn't show you the ones taken by my four-year-old when I first woke up one recent morning. You know you're grateful.
So, you locals, if you see me shopping in Safeway, Giant, Costco, Michael's, or Spenceola Antiques, dragging bags of books at the library (my regular haunts), or out walking on the Ma and Pa trail, wave or say hello to the redheaded freckly one with four kids.
