They're in character almost daily here since our immersion into The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe:
I love how they really live what we're reading. And I especially love the interesting juxtaposition which flows between The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and another one of our read alouds, Gooney Bird Greene (which focuses upon a quirky young girl's gift of storytelling and lightly teaches the elements that make a story great. See the right sidebar under "Read Alouds We Love." It's the first book listed...not for any special reason).
Both books are engaging, but in very different ways. For some reason it became our pattern to read first one book, and then the other, very close together. As engaging as Gooney Bird Greene is, my children don't pretend to be Gooney Bird.
It's the Penvensies they're reliving.

My son just informed me that the Prince Caspian movie will finally be out next month! We loved the first movie and have read all the books a number of times. Also, if you haven't listened to the Focus on the Family Radio Drama of the Chronicles, you will LOVE them. They are probably at your library!

Thanks for the reminder about the Focus on the Family production. A friend told me about them awhile ago and I forgot all about it.:-) I'll see if my library system has them. I'm excited about Prince Caspian...so much C.S. Lewis, so little time.;-)
