Rainy Afternoon Fun

Yesterday it was cold and rainy outside so we stayed in and had rainy afternoon fun.
Here are some of the things we did...

This is me playing the recorder:


I was playing rainy day songs like, "Rain, Rain Go Away" and "It's Raining."

After playing the recorder we all read The Horse and His Boy and had hot chocolate and butterfly shaped cookies. It's the third book in the Chronicles of Narnia.

We also drew while we listened to classical music. It was "Fanfare for Common Man." My younger brother Ben was being very loud when we were listening. He was telling Mom about what he was drawing.

Then my sister and I played where she was a Tarkheena and I was her servant, Jacob was her guard, and Ben was a prince:



It was a very fun afternoon.

Homeschool Gym Class

One of the fun things we do in my YMCA homeschool gym class is to climb the alpine tower. It's about 53 feet high!

This is me going up the ropes. It was much harder than the beginner sides of the tower:

It's a really great thing to climb!
